Hey, wait--what have I unwittingly revealed about myself?!

::panics, distractedly hugs you::

Oh, just the phone thing.

Really, the whole list is very consistent with what I imagine I know about you.

Your great fear is very similar to mine. I try not to think about it.

I really liked Microserfs. I read it in '94 when my then-boyfriend and several friends/housemates were all working for a dot.com startup (as was I, briefly and on a temp basis, doing html coding back when knowing paragraph, bold and italic tags was a marketable skill). I thought the book rocked. I wonder whether it's stood the test of time.

You know, if you ever need to escape to maine, you can hole up in the spare room with all the boxes...I'll put clean sheets on the bed, and I'll ignore you as much as you like, and you can go sniff the water of the cove I live on.

Oh, and I'm not altogether unserious...just ask _flaming_june_ and herself_nyc about my very recent impromptu trip to meet them in NYC so I could go be anonymously part of a noisy human filled place for a couple of days. I feel much better for it.
