a strange place  
I just got on e-mail after an absence of a week or more. My brother and his wife had both sent me e-mails. About a week ago my mother's second husband of the last twenty years murdered her and committed suicide. I need to write this down and now I need to get offline and do I don't even know what.

I am sitting here thinking I should turn comments off on this because I don't even know if I would read them but I admit I desperately want to know that people are reading this and to know there is some response out there. That's all.

Oh no. That is awful and... oh, Anna, your mom. I'm so, so sorry.

I don't know what you should do either, except... if you are on any kind of good terms with your brother, and there's any way you can go to him or he can come to you, you should. Or at very least call.

I don't know what else to say. This is a terrible thing that has happened, and I'm so, so sorry it happened to her, to you, to your whole family. {{{{{hugs}}}}}}

Perhaps you should get in touch with your brother, unless there is some reason not to.

I'm so sorry.

Are you on terms enough with your brother that you can contact him? If you can, I think that would be a good place to start.
