sga comment fic #10: The Hero in Question
for thepouncer: "Heroism and Ancient gadgets." Except I used Wraith gadgets. I also cunningly sprinkled several textual errors into the story--just remind yourself of that if you see any.

Just joining up at the tail end of your parade and waving madly with delight. All of these are just wonderful - you are one amazing writer!

He strongly suspected that there was something in John's behavior to be justifiably annoyed about.

*love*

And he got his hero's kiss! Oh, so happy. *more love*

He wasn't sure that a proper recognition of his heroism lay behind John's words.

Oh, RODNEY.

I loved this!

I love how you give us Rodney will all the defects of his virtues and the virtues of his defects (all of which render him amusingly irritating and intensely loveable).

I also love how you use actions to display emotions.

And I love a lot more, but other folks have beaten me to it . . .

Thanks for these wonderful SGA pieces!

an experience that was improved this time by having a story of epic heroism that he was able to share at length with Carson

I love that image - Rodney having a friend to go back to and talk about his day, and Carson listening quietly and nodding in the right places as he patches Rodney up.

Oh my god I loved that. No, really. Especially Rodney taking it upon himself to tell Beckett of his heroism -- and then realizing he'd forgotten about it between Beckett and Elizabeth!

Oh, RONON, kicking it! And I love all of them, scared and relieved and angry. And kissing, also appropriate.

I feel that is a good plan on Rodney's part...the not dying bit.
