SGA rec: Phantom Limb by mandysbitch (not a story about kittens)

This is one of those times when I feel I should write at least four thoughtful paragraphs as a rec to do a story justice, a la thefourthvine (who should be a role model for all fandom, I think). But if I made recs dependent on that, you'd never hear from me.

Phantom Limb (McKay/Sheppard)

It's beautiful and rich with angst. Almost too angsty for me, but that isn't even remotely a criticism. It's all good. It's just painfully good, and made me cry. And I'm faint of heart. I like happy endings and stories about kittens. So it's aerobic reading--tension, heart racing, gut knotting anxiously. It's amazing.

I don't know where I came across this, or I'd thank whoever it was that posted a link; maybe it was on the sga newsletter? It's a newly posted story.
