I seem to have a thing for characters named Jack. Jack Sparrow, Jack Bristow, Jack O'Neill. Then there's Jack Davenport; I'm just going to pretend he's a character.

Someone should write a crossover story called "Playing Jacks" that includes all of them. Or "Cracker Jacks." Or you could poke half their eyes out and call it "One-Eyed Jacks" and set it in the Twin Peaks universe.

So bored. So lost in the universe. So nearly three o'clock.

What? No Jack Bauer? :-)

I haven't really watched the show enough--though I've been partially pimped into seeing a few S1 eps so far. :)

Jack of Shadows (a character by Roger Zelazny)

And yeah, I have a soft spot for that name and characters that wear it. :-)

But you can't write "jack off" in a story with a Jack. It's just wrong.

Yep. You should.

One day a bubble popped in the universe and four Jacks appeared. They all stared at each other. Jack One tipped his head to one side and swayed as he regarded the others. Jack Two immediately noticed that he was a bit swishy and let his hand rest on the butt of his gun. Jack Three stood there with his mouth slightly open and wondered where Johnny Depp had come from and who these other guys were and whether he'd dropped acid recently and forgotten about it. Jack Four shot them all without changing expression and waited for a return bubble.

I've got all those, except subtract the Jack Sparrow and add the Jack Aubrey of Master and Commander! :) Yes, another fannish Jack, and he a hale and hearty seaman (yes, pun intended). {g}

Jacks in the Box?

Did you ever read my fics that had an original slash character called Jack? I suspect you'd like him too. He's an ex-junkie with a beautiful tattoo, and he and Spike shag like crazed weasels.

Plus, Jack Reacher!

I have much love for all men named Jack who also happen to be Men On The Edge! Men Pushed to Their Limits! Good Men Making Hard Choices!

Or something...

The main doctor dude on Lost is called Jack, but he pales in importance to the other dudes because they bring teh pretty. So maybe there's an extra X-factor in there somewhere too. Damned if I can figure.

Jack Reacher! Yes. Ahhh, good one. *bounce*

I tried to show you my new hair color today, but either someone was always in your office, or you were missing. Tomorrow!

One day I spent a really embarrassing amount of time thinking about crossovers that would allow me to pair/threesome characters with the same first name. Like Harry Osborne/Harry Kim/Harry Potter, for instance. James Wilson/James Potter/Jim Ellison. Aiden Ford/Ford Prefect.

Or, just to be different, Lex Luthor/Xander Harris/Alex Krycek.

Me Too! And for platinum-headed boys.

I've got a similar fondness, only mine is for Nicks. Nick Brendon, Nick Carter, Nick Stokes, Nick Lea, all sorts of Nicks. *grin* I've never met one I didn't like!
