Rec: Sparrow/Norrington, Full Moon
Could I love firesignwriter any more than I do at this very moment? Well, she has more stories, so probably, yes.

Full Moon

Read it--it's canon! I mean, if you'd only sat in the theater until after the credits, you'd have seen all this bonus material. Aren't you sad you didn't? But now you can read it!

[ETA: I sound dorky when I get all excited, don't I? Yeah. That's what I thought. *g*]
Current Mood: libidinous pirates

"Libidinous" is one of my all-time best words. ("Flagitious" is another.)

It's shameful that I haven't read your other stories before, but do you know why that is? Delayed orgasm. You know, how when you're in that honeymoon period and you know that there's only a finite number of orgasms in a fandom, and you don't want to get to the end of them too soon, so you draaaaaw them out to make them last?

Ooh, but really, you might wanna read from here instead of the (lovely but hosting unedited fics of mine) Parley.

Though likely no one ever notices the changes anyway...

"Flagitious" becomes a running theme -- and then a bit of a fandom inside joke -- in the third story, Drowning. Flagitious wig abuse: it's not just a concept; it's a way of life.

No rush! The stories aren't going anywhere. Glad you liked. :)

I will totally check these out on your site! :>D And savor.

Thanks to Eliade for bringing this jewel to my attention. It was teh lovely. I'm so glad to learn there are sequels. I could *hear* Captain Jack say "Pretend." Gave me the shivers, it did. The good kind.

Will read the rest from that handy dandy link.

If we're allowed to have squee-moments in our own fics, that scenelet with Jack by the fire was mine in FM. I felt the guy purring in my ear all through writing it. Happy you liked it!

Lovely, lovely, lovely story. No over-the-top Captain Jack *i know, i know*, and a Norrington who was absolutely proper and correct.

Nice, nice, nice stuff!
*must go read more*

Thank you! Enjoy the rest. :)

Have you read the sequels to Full Moon? There are like 4 parts to the series.

Full Moon

All are fabulous and can be found at the Parley Archive.

Oh, yes, oh yes, they're on my list. See my comment above about draaaaawing out the pleasure--like eating a Caramello bar. *g*
Clioladyclio16 on January 26th, 2005 09:30 am (UTC)
They are all just lovely. Those were some of the first stories I read in the PotC fandom, took me a while to find my niche (Sparrington). I still adore them.

Oddly enough, I had a Caramello bar tonight. I generally like them, but this one was stale and had obviously been sitting in the vending machine too long. Which sucks. *shrug*

I'm starting to ramble time for me to go to bed I think.

There's also Penumbra (included here), which is sort of a tag-on to the main series. It's only worth reading if you're willing to take a chance on the whole anti_jack concept -- the series is complete without it -- but if you're feeling exploratory you might like it.

And thank you! :)

You're welcome in regards to the praise for your stories. I really do love them. They are some of my favorite Sparrington stories.

I haven't had a chance to read Penumbra yet. I'm going to have to give it a read soon.

I realy do love your stories. Sadly, I'm horrible at remembering to feedback or I would have told you sooner.

I'm pretty lame at feedback myself. I try to remember, but...yeah. Heh.

Anyway, thanks!

.... are you just reading that brilliance for the first time?
tabaquitabaqui on January 26th, 2005 09:51 pm (UTC)
Lovely rec, thank you!
I guess the only way to leave feedback it to review?

Lovely story.

You could reply to one of her comments here with your feedback! :>D
