writing update and misc LJ question

I'm 500 words away from finishing the next donation story snippet; I ended up continuing with noir, because it tickled my brain. I'd meant to do whatever the next request was, but now that'll come next...next.

So, does anyone know how you remove a memory category? I made one, then backed up and removed it (I thought) but now it lingers even though it has no associated entries. It's a small thing, but I want it gone.

I have very little news of my world. Am meeting with the hiring manager tomorrow, assuming he hasn't caught pneumonia. Am girding my loins to negotiate.

Went to the Seattle bash on Saturday, watched Vividcon vids; more to say on that later.

I sleep now.
