Sparrow/Norrington rec
This was great--great voices, hot thrust-and-parry, just the right tone, and such a great slide from the lewd to the romantic. *happy*

Why the Commodore Never Kisses Jack Sparrow

I tried to figure out how to leave feedback on this, but couldn't; I could only figure out how to rate it.

ETA: Her other stuff is good too. So incredibly fun, but then it's like the dip and swell of waves--fun, and then you're slapped with a gaspingly romantic line or three. Just lovely, lyrical bits.

Also, I just got spam that says, "tentacles immediately and directly."

You need to read her others! They kick ass.

Thanks for the tip. I may read more at a later date - but probably not. For some reason I don't read a lot of new stuff and I don't stray much from the Whedonverses.
Rather than reading anything new I just reread 'Subtleties'. I still love that unusual story very much.

Oh, lovely! (happy smile) Thanks so much for posting that link; I couldn't resist, and I'm glad I didn't.

I am also recommending her others to everyone who commented here. :) They are romantic in a way that burrows right into my viscera.

thank you for the rec -- i'd never have come across it otherwise, but that was one of the best fun stories i've read in a year :D

Ahem, could you please tell me the name of the author of this story? The Parley Archive is apparently down; I googled the title but nothing came out of it.

In case you were wondering: I am currently browsing memory sections for good Norrington/Sparrow fics. Not that I am obsessed or anything! :-)
