so nervous...
I'm prepping for my SEVEN interviews. (I should put that in blinking text.) My first interview got moved up to 9:00 tomorrow morning. *squeak*

I made a list of all the knowledge areas I can bring to the position, and sent an e-mail to the hiring manager to ask if this list would be a useful talking point tool for the interviewing team. I don't know if this is pushy or not--I couched the offer in careful terms. But it's just that as I was making the list for my own reference I realized just *how much* I can bring to the job, stuff that's just too much to get across in your standard interview anecdote, but too much detail for a resume.

I'm trying to write out all sorts of examples to common questions too, for reference for myself--notes. I know that otherwise I won't have good examples on the tip of my tongue. There's so much I've done in six years that, once I've done it, I don't think about it again. As I make lists, I realize I've done rather a lot. And so much of it is undocumented or uncodified as a formal process or task.

So nervous. This could be such a great opportunity.

Best of luck! Take some deep breaths and be yourself. I'm sure you'll do wonderfully. Making lists and bringing them along sounds like a good idea to me; they won't know unless you tell them.

I had an interview recently, and had asked my manager if she thought it was okay to bring a list of things i wanted to get across to the interview. She said it was cool, and afterwards told me that it made me look quite on top of things during the interview. So I'd vote for bringing the list.

Best of luck!!!!

Good luck!
You'll do great, if you were pounced like that and if you can see what you can bring to the job - nothing sells better than self-confidence.

Damn girl. You are so impressive to me. You have got it DOWN, if they don't promote you now, they'll give you a more impressive, more important, higher paying job later because I think you are going to *FREAK THEM OUT*

My god. I don't know what you do, but you write like Graham Greene and Margaret Drabble combined. You are obviously (revealed through your writing) a fucking genius.

Well. If this little bit doesn't do something to quell your nerves. Take a small shot of something or half a tranq about two hours before your interview. (Only if you already know the effects) You got it going on!

Wow. Seven interviews. Good luck *hugs* I myself have an interview-of-doom next week where I have over three hours of tests to take before I get to do the *actual* interview. But like yours, it's a great opportunity if I get it. You're putting a lot of energy into this so I'm sure that universe/karma will reward you for it.

You are fantastic and I think they should give you the gig for your fanfiction alone, though I suppose the fact that you have knowledge and skillz and experience might count for more than the fanfic would, somehow. *g*

Good luck!!!

You sound wonderfully prepared and confident (if privately freaked -- and they're not gonna know about that!), and I'm wishing you lots of luck! Knock their socks off!

Did I miss something? I didn't even know you were looking?! Good luck on the interviews. Let's hope these are people who recognize a good thing when they find it! :crosses fingers:

It sounds like no matter how butterflied your tummy is, you are going to be the most well-prepared interviewee in the history of employment. GOOD LUCK!
