"Since thirty I've had to put a daily limit on facial expressions."
My first-season Coupling DVDs arrived! Perfect Saturday-night viewing.

Sally: "Mary Kelly thinks you're a complete idiot."
Patrick: "Then why does she keep looking at my ass when we're talking?"
Sally: "She's lip-reading."

Hee.

When I was adding the show to my LJ interest list, I noticed that the example of a good interest list is:

biking, snow skiing, computers, dvds, mp3s, cheese, women

...

A: "So Paul, what do you do?"
P: "Well, I'm between jobs right now, but I'm keeping up with my hobbies."
A: "Oh yeah, what are you into?"
P: "Oh, you know. DVDs, MP3s, cheese, women."

Uh huh.

I dreamed of Buffy and cheese last week. Spike and Xander were mocking Buffy for her cheese eating.

I go now.

I have never understood the Buffy/cheese thing. Riley asks Buffy's best friend about her and the only thing Willow can come up with is "She likes cheese"?

I cannot imagine actual human beings having that conversation. Though it does eventually lead to the Cheese Man, which heals a multitude of sins.

I like cheese. But I don't think I'm keeping up with it. The cheese in my fridge is... developing... in alarming ways.

Well now I'm thinkin' that cheese as a hobby is a good thing. It's a pretty color, several colors actually and even more when it's old and skanky; it sits quietly in one place until you move it, and in the end it's delicious, more so when melted on grilled buttered bread. I say put cheese ahead of the DVDs in the hobby list!

I have nothing interesting to say about cheese
(although I must say I had a goat gouda yesterday that still makes me happy to think about) but you know Brie is a huge fan of Coupling.

Good to see you last night, sweetie -- Let's pick a time for the Incredibles!
