It never fails to astonish me how much energy people are willing to dedicate to things they dislike. I mean, I can understand working for legislative or social change on issues you feel strongly about, that affect your life and society and what have you, but... slash? I mean, get a grip. Especially when you claim not to have anything against homosexuals/homosexuality, so you can't even blow the morality trumpet (stupid enough, but at least it's an excuse of sorts). It's just pointless.
It's like people who hate a certain character and yet spend hours, days, weeks studying and writing and arguing about said character. Then they claim that the character has ruined the show, because no one talks about anything else. It's all very circular.

These are the same people who can't be bothered to vote. Or who vote for Schwarzenegger, which is worse.

(Don't mind me, I'm clearly having one of those "disappointed by humanity" days--actually a pretty rare thing for me, I'm such a disgusting Pollyanna most of the time.)
