Why didn't someone tell me that there was a movie out there starring Will Smith, Gene Hackman, Jon Voight, Loren Dean (Mumford!), Seth Green, Jason Lee, Jack Black, Lisa Bonet, Regina King, Barry Pepper, Jake Busey, Scott Caan, Gabriel Byrne, Ian Hart, James LeGros, Jamie Kennedy, Tom Sizemore, and Bodhi Elfman? And dude, it fucking *rocks*. Proving that Bruckheimer and Scott movies with generic mass-market titles don't necessarily suck. This is why I have a soft spot for big American flicks.
Why don't I have an icon of Jason Lee? Must rectify that.
P.S., wiseacress recs "A Mighty Wind" in her most recent post. Agree with that as well--I watched this a few days ago. Brilliant, brilliant movie, hysterical, and the music is amazing.
