my head gives off death vibes

I think. Because I have terrible luck with headphones. I like biggish, comfy ones, the kind with padded muffs, and not those little knobby ones you stick in your ears like plugs. I spend about $25-30 on a pair, and probably wouldn't want to spend much more because I'm always carting them around in my backpack. Though then again if I'm hard on them, that might be an argument to spend more money rather than less. I don't know. Anyway, I bought a really nice pair of Jensens (JF25 Stereo Headphones), and then a pair of Sony (MDR-V250), and both of them broke, the first pair within a year, which isn't so terribly bad; the Sony ones within six months, which sucks.

Does anyone have any recommendations?
