I am listening to Chris Cornell's "Seasons," a cool song that thete1 turned me on to. It is making me want to get in my car--or at least, *a* car, unlike the one that went into a coma at an intersection the night before last, only four blocks from my house--it is making me want to get in a car and just drive. Like, to New York. With some CDs and a bag of clothes and new sunglasses.

I need a road trip.

I love seasons. He has another one on the Great Expectations soundtrack as well, but it is not as good. I'll rummage about and see if I can find it for you.

I may be road tripping to tennesee. Wish I was meeting a man instead of a cat, but oh well.

Is a road trip in any way a violation of the hermetic credo?

I want one, as well. My two trips to NYC this summer will probably be it, however.

Well, if you do make it to NYC, I will take you for pancakes or something *g*.

That song makes me think of high school and Mark Billingsley and yeah - driving. Driving in the summer at night with the windows down. Maybe going somewhere at first and then not anywhere at all...

That's one of the sort of anthemic songs of my highschool years. I still love it. I didn't really get much of "Singles" when I watched it (I understood it much better a year or two later), but I grokked the song immediately.
