I must be really dumb because I don't get it! Wahhhh!

(Okay, I get this one frame, but as a whole the comic just confuzzles me.)

*Hugs you* You didn't have to delete those comments, honey! Really! I didn't think they were thoughtless or freakish or whatever else. *More hugs*

Ahee hee! Love your icon. Poor Rodneysaur with his useless, useless little arms.
Anna S.: rodney-turtleeliade on February 16th, 2006 01:08 am (UTC)
Oh my god, I didn't even think of that--HE CAN'T PLAY THE PIANO BECAUSE HIS ARMS DON'T REACH THE KEYBOARD!

*diessssss*

The Cruel World: Play us a sonata, Rodneysaur!
Rodneysaur: *tips over onto the keys* Gnaaarn.
The Cruel World: Doesn't sound like Mozart, McKay.
Rodneysaur: *flails uselessly* Nngh! Rarr!

Very inconvenient, as now I have no shaving-glass: Dean smile - slodwickdzurlady on February 16th, 2006 02:47 pm (UTC)
Aww, so cute! It reminds me of the Red Dwarf ep 'Pete' when they accidentally turn a bird into a t-rex with a time wand, and have to try and change it back.

From here:
KILL CRAZY
Well, if that gizmo thing don't work, Captain says we gotta go in and 'ave
that thing.

BAXTER
And we ain't usin' no guns.

KILL CRAZY
Yeah, huns are for wusses. It's gonna be hand-to-hand combat.
[KILL CRAZY performs a few amateur martial arts moves]

RIMMER
A fistfight with T-Rex..?

KILL CRAZY
Yeah, but them T-Rexes, mate... only got little arms, in't they... ain't
got no reach... Yeah, I'll just pick it off...
Bosh!
[KILL CRAZY enthusiastically punches the air a few times]

BAXTER
Can't reach anyfin' with them little arms.

RIMMER
That's probably why they're always a bit grumpy...
[RIMMER mimes trying to reach down his body with a T-Rex's small forearms]

Sadly it is a somewhat visual joke, but - hee. :) I love the logic behind 'Ain't got no reach'.

Oh God, it's my ex-boss disguised as a t-rex!

Seriously, that's frighteningly accurate.

I LOVE THAT COMIC SO MUCH! Thanks for sharing this one - I hadn't seen it.

PS If that arguement was true, Xander and Spike would have been fuck buddies by S5.

PPS If someone already made that joke, please pretend I made another, even funnier joke. Thank you for your time.

Hee! Love that icon.

Thank you! That one is from eyesthatslay, who is an icon genius, without question. She made, like, fifty Bambi icons recently, every one cuter than the last. :0)

I am really liking that comic strip. I wonder if there's an lj feed for it?
palebluebellpalebluebell on February 16th, 2006 10:25 am (UTC)
Am I a bad person that I *howled* at the 'Well, my friend died.' one?

Because, really, no better way to bring a debate to a screeching, awkward halt, than for someone to utter those words with just the right amount of righteous martyrdom...hehehe

And, I don't understand why saying Buffy was well written is amongst these; it *was* well written. -sulkgrumblemutter-
