You can have many OTPs. Lots. Lashings.

I myself have...three?

It's when they overlap characters, though, that I wonder at myself...you know? *g*

My master's house has many rooms...or mansions...or something.

I keep various AUs cycling through in tandem, all the time. Or maybe they keep me cycling.

Me too!

Or maybe they keep me cycling.

I wish my mental cycling would reduce calories.
do you want orcs? because this is how you get orcs: Manuskita0610 on March 18th, 2005 11:28 pm (UTC)
I think this could all be solved by having all the pairings have sex with one another. Yes.

Right, but then you run the risk of ending up with something like Angel/Bobby from Another Day in Paradise, or James/Spike, and that's just...weird.

Isn't it interesting that fans used to be just *rabid* about their OTPs being the *one*, and now you can have your OTP (say S/X) and still whore one character out to anyone pretty or enigmatic enough (say Lindsey) without a qualm? You can even cross gender lines and ship S/X while reading Xander/Dawn completely guilt-free!

And then you can have a completely new OTP including a character who's *already* in an OTP. Ah, fanfictional progressions. Fanfic is, as a rule, over the "not gay but in love with a guy" theory, are we now overcoming our need for complete monogamy in our heart-of-heart characters?

Or maybe we just love the pretty.
