the unfair distribution of precipitation
It snowed. And then the snow went away. Not fair! *pleads with snow* Come back!

In winter I expect the world to look like this:

Every year here I wait for the Big Snow and just about every year I'm disappointed.

Want to help? Please send your extra or unwanted snow to:

Please box and wrap snow carefully, and include sufficient postage. Thank you!

It was way pretty this morning in Lynnwood. Actually, it was even still flurrying up until I left around 10:30.

Kinda wished it would have done this during the week, though, and I could have used it as an excuse not to go to work. *g*

That's why it needs to keep snowing! More! So that we don't have to go in tomorrow. Let's both go outside right now and do a snow dance, shall we? I assume you have the traditional pom-pom hat, "snow stick" and sacrificial rabbits? Oh of course you do--let's go!

I'm shocked you don't have snow in Seattle. I'm in Vancouver and we got about a foot the other day- and it's still here. *grumbles*

Normally, if we get snow you guys get snow too. But I'm willing to share... ::sends our left-over 6 inches your way::

Fine, you can have allllll the snow you want, as long as it stays north of the King County line.

I got really disenchanted with snow in Seattle in January of 1979, when it not nly snowed but then got down to 6oF and stayed there for a week. I wished, living on the side of Beacon Hill as I did, for crampons and an ice axe.

Julia, old and cranky and perfectly thrilled with no snow

How about plain old cold weather? Cause it's -36 C ... which falls into the range of ridiculous weather, IMHO! *weedles* I'd be quite happy to share!

But I just flew into Seattle hoping to get away from the snow. *pouts*

I wanted snow too. I even stocked up on toilet paper.
Living beside the Sound makes me less likely to get snow than any other place in Seattle so the remnants I saw upon waking thrilled me.
As long as I can get yo the airport thursday you can have all the snow you want.
